The Ridge Club Tournament Series

In response to pass holders requests, The Ridge Staff is happy to announce a new competitive golf series for avid tournament players. 

The Exclusive, New, Ridge Club Tournament Series is for:

·         Annual Pass holders

·         Ridge Super Pass holders

·         General Public-as long as they have a  GHIN handicap 

How The Ridge Club Tournament Series Works

·         Ten to twelve (10-12)  tournaments will be held during the 2008 season

·         Five (5) 18 hole weekend tournaments

·         Five to seven (5-7) 9-hole weekday tournaments 

·         Tournament formats will include

o        2-man scrambles

o        low gross and net

o        best ball

o        stroke play events

·         Prizes will be awarded and include skill prizes like long drive and closest to the pin

·         Prize money will be awarded in gift certificates redeemable in the golf shop

·         Some tournaments will be preceded or followed by a food and beverage event. 

·         The annual Ridge Club fee will be $200. The fee includes a GHIN number and $30 in prize fees for five 18 hole weekend tournaments per year.

·         Weekend tournament green fees will be $75 for Annual Pass holders and Ridge Super pass holders and will include cart and range balls

·         Weekend tournament green fees for the general public Ridge Club player will be discounted from the posted green fee rate. The weekday 9-hole tournament prize and entry fees are TBD

Schedule

·         Season Opener! Free Pancake Breakfast and Golf Event: Saturday April, 26th.  

·         Saturday tournaments will be held on May 24^th, June 14^th, July 5^th, August 9^th,  and Sept. 6^th

·         All starting times will be either tee times or shotguns early Saturday morning
