The Ridge GC is Headquarters for US Kids Golf's Local Denver Tour and becoming well known for unique junior and family golf programs, such as the new Troon Family Golf Program, where kids can play free after 3:00 PM with a paying adult and try out our new Callaway Junior Demo Sets of golf clubs designed for kids ages 5-8 and 9-12. Junior golfers also receive a 50% discount on regular greens fees when not accompanied by a paying adult. Junior Camps are available for $100-$200.
Regardless of ability or experience, Juniors ages 6-14 are invited to the 3-day Junior Golf Academy, with one hour classes for kids ages 6 - 9 and two hour classes for young people ages 10 - 14. Golf Equipment is provided if needed at no additional cost.
Youngsters enjoy a fun-filled, educational, and memorable experience while learning to understand and appreciate the character building aspects of the game of golf and the advantages that may come later in life from learning to play the game as a youngster. In addition to learning to play by the rules, good sportsmanship, how to practice properly, and how to play competitive golf, our junior golfers learn valuable lessons about life that golf teaches us - like patience and having good composure...
The Academy's mission is to ensure safety for all kids, while having a lot of fun. Beginners learn the basic fundamentals, rules and etiquette. Intermediate and advanced players learn specific practice routines and tips for continued improvement in all areas of the game from Driving to Putting.
